Wow I can’t believe it is 2015! Looking forward to this year with our family!

December 2014

Wow! I can’t believe this year is coming to a close! What a busy, memory filled year we have had.

Dec. 6-Today Cooper and Bryant got up and headed out on a Guy’s field trip today with Bobby, Laura, Landon, Kenley, & Luke Woods, and Blaine Bledsoe. They went to the Marine Museum. The boys thoroughly enjoyed their day. They were very impressed with the number of restaurants Read more...

October 2014

4th-We have been planning on having a yard sale all year long but when it came down to it we weren’t as prepared as we were hoping to be. I crammed this week and got a bunch of stuff out and priced for the sale. I was able to make some muffins and cookies last night for the kids to sell. July 2014

We started July with Kaylin going to Gwenyth’s birthday swim party. The party was at the Corle’s pool. I took Kaylin & Kolby with me. It is amazing the kids aren’t raisins now. They stayed in the pool for hours. It was a perfect day for swimming as it was 90* I believe. The party started at 11:00 and we stayed until 4:00. Abby had prepared a snacky lunch so we took a Read more...

Please pass the cheese…

I decided to start with an easy recipe. Anne Bledsoe was over for the day and so while I made cheese she made cookies with the kids so they were entertained where I could concentrate. I was so pleased that Read more...

My Pantry

I started in deep cleaning my kitchen and realized that I just needed to give up my vacuum cleaner/broom closet and turn it into another pantry. I had paper goods in my office cabinets and down stairs. I had food sitting on the counter or under the desk because it wouldn’t fit in my pantry, etc. So Mr. Handy Dandy Chester went to Lowes and picked up a piece of Closet Maid shelving and Read more...

Spring Cleaning Projects-Freezers

Today I had to clean out my freezers as I had just done my once-a-month shopping and wanted to start doing some freezer cooking so I can have some meals already made and ready to grab out of the freezer. There was NO ROOM to put anything in them and they looked like they had been stirred with a stick. So I completely emptied the freezer and got all the ice build-up out. Then I made a list of Read more...
