I got up and got hustling this morning. I decorated a tea pot cake for Kaylin. Then I cleaned up the house and made snackies for lunch. Cooper & Bryant got to go down to Laura’s and play Lego for the day so they didn’t have to be at a girls tea party. Lorianne & her kiddos came as well as Tara Martin, Gwyneth Cox, & Laura. Kaylin didn’t think I knew how to make tea for a tea party so she asked her Grandmother to make it. The girls brought their dolls so we had a table full. We had lunch meat roll ups, cheese cubes, crackers, cucumbers, pickles, strawberries (plain or drizzled with white chocolate, and pretzels. After the tea party the girls changed into water clothes and tried out our new Slip N Slide. It was a nice warm day so that felt good. We had cupcakes outside and then the girls came in and changed and played dolls and house.

Kolby and Dirke had their own table for the tea party. Dirke just wasn’t thrilled about having his picture taken.

I loved watching their faces as they got close to the water.
They would all close their eyes and tense up waiting for the water to spray their faces.
Kaylin ready to “face” the water.
Corah was determined to keep her nose up out of the water.
Her determination was hysterical!
Whew! Made it!
Dirke wasn’t sure he liked the idea of getting wet.
But Kolby on the other hand needed a little more excitement and started experimenting on ways to go down the slide.
I guess it wore him out.
