I started in deep cleaning my kitchen and realized that I just needed to give up my vacuum cleaner/broom closet and turn it into another pantry. I had paper goods in my office cabinets and down stairs. I had food sitting on the counter or under the desk because it wouldn’t fit in my pantry, etc. So Mr. Handy Dandy Chester went to Lowes and picked up a piece of Closet Maid shelving and some brackets (All of which were marked down & on clearance. Woo-Hoo, way to go Babe!) Then Chester and I set to work and put in the shelves and made a 2nd pantry. Then I got to work organizing. I had all my new Tupperware that I had gotten at my party to use up as well as some I had picked up at yard sales, Goodwill, or on eBay. I used Chester’s handy labeler and labeled all the Tupperware containers. It looks so neat and tidy. (I’ll hurry and take a picture before we start using it and it gets messy again!)
I was able to take all the paper goods out of my office cabinets and put away all the papers on my desk and put all my scrap booking stuff in the office cabinets instead of down buried in the school room where I never have the chance to use it. And with the desk cleaned off we were able to move the computer up so that the kids can blog, do Star Fall, etc. on it and we can monitor what is actually happening. We didn’t like having it down in the school room now that school is done since we weren’t down there to oversee what was actually being done on the computer. Much better!
